A Recent Client Experience
Recently, I worked with a client who was working in Dubai and was time-poor. They had a budget of $500,000 and wanted to buy in a well-favoured suburb in Toowoomba, and preferably a property that needed renovating. I found a great property that met the clients’ criteria for $530,000 and secured it at their budgeted price. The house was in good condition and situated in a premium location. Due to my client being time constrained, I obtained quotes on their behalf for the renovation of the property which came in at $100,000 with the client only paying $80,000.
This was a 3 month project that was managed from the initial buyer’s agent stages to navigating pest and building reports – as I had to find solutions to levelling and white ant activity, through to assisting with the project management of renovations and finally, I assisted with finding a great tenant for the property. The property is now close to $1 000 000 in value and has retained the same tenant. Overall, it was a very successful and enjoyable process and I am now currently assisting the client in extending their property portfolio further in the Toowoomba region.
